Bradford Bulls and York Knights earned their spot in the Betfred Championship Semi-Finals next weekend, where they will travel to face Toulouse Olympique and Wakefield Trinity.
The Knights produced a hard-fought Eliminator win against Widnes Vikings at the LNER Community Stadium on Saturday, with a hat-trick from Tom Lineham, as well as tries from Joe Law and Jesse Dee.
The scores were locked in at 10-10 after tries from Lineham and Law, while the Vikings converted two successful penalties and Rhodri Lloyd found a gap in the York defence to cross.
It was all to play for in the second stanza, as the Knights turned pressure into points with another try from Lineham and a drop goal from Liam Harris.
Dee was next to cross over the line for the Knights, with a spectacular 61st minute solo effort.
Just two minutes later, Lineham completed his hat-trick, adding another try in the corner with just a quarter of an hour left, as Mark Applegarth's side secured a superb Play-Off victory against a strong Widnes outfit.
On Sunday, Bradford Bulls enjoyed a compelling victory over rivals Featherstone Rovers in their fiesty Eliminator match.
Eamon O’Carroll’s side made a lightning quick start with Jayden Myers, who scored out on the right edge. Points were at a premium, however, with defences on top in the first forty - although Jordan Lilley did manage to nudge the Bulls further ahead with a penalty goal.
With half-time closing in, their star halfback slotted over a drop goal to take the Bulls into a two-score lead.
The second half began in similar fashion but three tries in 15 minutes saw the home side race into an unassailable lead.
The first saw Kieran Gill pounce on a grubber from Tom Holmes, while the second saw Lilley touch down for a breakaway score after Gill, Mitch Souter and Keven Appo all combined.
Appo then got himself on the scoresheet with the Bulls rampant, as he powered over from close range.
The visitors managed two late consolation scores from Josh Hardcastle and Brad Day, but this was not enough to overcome a formidable Bradford side, who will compete in a second successive semi-final.
The Championship Semi-Finals will take place next Sunday (13 October), with York away at Wakefield and Bradford making the trip to Toulouse in the south of France.
