National Conference League announces significant Management Changes

National Conference League announces significant Management Changes

The National Conference League (NCL) chair, Trevor Hunt has announced that there will be significant changes to the league’s management structure for 2025.

Following the very sad and untimely passing of President Peter Moran, these changes will ensure the continued smooth operation of the league and the ongoing support of its clubs and community.

In an announcement scheduled for distribution on Friday, the NCL will outline the specific details of the proposed changes.

However, it can be confirmed that one of the key adjustments will involve a slight restructuring of the role of club representatives. Going forward, the NCL will look to appoint regional club representatives to better serve the league’s diverse membership. These positions will be divided into four regions: Cumbria, the North West, West Yorkshire, and East Yorkshire.

The NCL invites those who are interested in taking on one of these important roles to express their interest. Further details on how to apply will be included in the forthcoming announcement.

The league extends its heartfelt condolences to Peter Moran's family, and many friends during this difficult time. His legacy within the National Conference League and throughout community rugby league will not be forgotten.

For further information or to express interest in one of the club representative roles, please contact NCL Secretary Alan Smith.
