RL Commercial are delighted to confirm that Ronseal will continue their long-term support of Rugby League’s match officials for the 2025 season.
And this year the officials are wearing new-look jerseys with Ronseal’s famous slogan - “Does exactly what it says on the tin".
Ronseal have been a proud partner of Rugby League match officials since 2018, meaning this will be their eighth season in the sport.
There have been numerous changes over those seasons, with every Super League fixture now televised, and in 2025 Tara Jones making history as the first woman to join the RFL’s panel of full-time officials.
And watch out for the special kits to be worn by the officials for next weekend’s historic fixtures in Las Vegas – with a nod to the NFL.
Jimmy Englezos, Ronseal’s Senior Brand Manager, said:
"At Ronseal, we are thrilled to announce the continuation of our partnership with Rugby League. We have been close partners for a number of years now and have collaborated to complete some great projects within local communities during that time.?
“In addition to the fantastic exposure that this partnership affords for our brand, we feel that both the RFL and Ronseal share a number of common values that combine to make this partnership great.
“We are proud to support all match officials across every format of the Betfred Challenge Cup and Super League for another year."?
Phil Bentham, the RFL’s Head of Match Officials, also said:
“On behalf of all our officials and the sport as a whole, we’re thrilled that Ronseal will be continuing their partnership in 2025. For it to have lasted so long and now running into an eighth season shows what a great partnership it’s been.”
Bobby Bahadori, Head of Partnerships RL Commercial, commented:?
“We are again delighted that Ronseal will continue their partnership with our Match Officials in 2025. They have been superb partners for Rugby League, recognising the importance of Match Officials as the sport’s unsung heroes – and their support will again run across Men’s, Women’s and Wheelchair?Rugby League.”?
