Betfred Challenge Cup - Quarter Final Draw Update

Betfred Challenge Cup - Quarter Final Draw Update

Watch and listen to Monday night's draw!

Hull FC and Hull KR will be numbers 2 and 3 in tonight’s draw for the Quarter Finals of the Betfred Challenge Cup.

The draw will be held in the BBC Radio 5 Live studio at Media City, and broadcast as part of a Rugby League Hour at 915pm – with Mark Chapman hosting, and former Challenge Cup winners Adrian Morley and Jon Wilkin conducting the draw.

Fans will also be able watch tonight’s Quarter Final Draw live on the BBC Sport website and app, as well as listening to it live on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds.

Hull FC produced the most eyecatching result in the weekend’s Fourth Round ties, stunning the 2024 winners Wigan Warriors at the Brick Community Stadium.

Hull KR had a comfortable home win against Oldham to reach the quarter finals for the fourth consecutive season as they aim for a second Wembley appearance in three years, having lost to Leigh Leopards in the 2023 Betfred Challenge Cup Final.

The city rivals have not met in the Challenge Cup since 1986 – and that was their only Cup meeting since the famous 1980 Final when Hull KR beat Hull FC 10-5 in front of a 95,000 Wembley crowd.

Catalans Dragons are number 1 as they aim for a first semi final appearance since they won the Cup in 2018, and Leigh Leopards are number 4 following Sunday’s convincing home win against the first Challenge Cup winners Batley.

Salford Red Devils are number 5 after beating Bradford Bulls on Friday night, and the 2021 Wembley winners St Helens are number 6 after they beat Leeds Rhinos in the heavyweight tie of the Fifth Round.

Wakefield Trinity, who reached the quarter finals for the first time since 2022 by beating Huddersfield Giants, will be number 7, and last year’s Wembley runners-up Warrington Wolves are number 8.

The Quarter Final ties will be on the weekend of April 4-6, with the Semi Finals on May 10-11, and the 2025 Betfred Challenge Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday June 7.

BBC Radio 5Live is available via DAB and AM radio (909 or 693), the BBC Sounds app and the following TV channels.

  • Freeview: 705
  • Sky: 0105
  • Virgin Media: 905

The draw will also take place on BBC Sport, which can be accessed via website and the app.
