UK Coaching Week is coming soon (2 to 8 June 2025) and the RFL, as an official partner, is asking the Rugby League community to #PassItOn as a mark of appreciation for the advice coaches offer.
This year’s UK Coaching Week theme is to simply: Pass It On – The Power of Great Coaching Advice!
Organisers are asking, whether you’re a coach, athlete, or someone inspired by coaching, that you take part this #UKCoachingWeek by sharing the best coaching advice you’ve received and inspiring others to do the same!
RFL Coaching Manager (Elite), Chris Spurr, explained: “The foundation of coaching relies on sharing advice. This UK Coaching Week is a great opportunity for the Rugby League community to join in and share the best advice they have received. The more we share the more we help each other out.
“There are legions of fantastic coaches doing amazing work at all levels and variations of Rugby League, and this is our collective opportunity to share their great advice and to inspire others!
“The Rugby League family, this is your opportunity to #PassItOn. What’s the best coaching advice you’ve ever received? Or the advice you have given as a coach that has made the greatest impact? Come ready to share, inspire, and #PassItOn as we spotlight the coaching wisdom that shapes individuals, teams, and communities.
“Here’s what you need to do:
1 - Record a video or post a message sharing the best coaching advice you've received.
2 - Tag UK Coaching and The Rugby Football League on your social channels and challenge others to share theirs.
3 - Use #UKCoachingWeek and #PassItOn to spread the message and join the celebration.
