Summary of CM's submissions on the Charge / evidence:

Following a Match Review Panel meeting held on 3rd April, you are charged with misconduct for a breach of Law 15.1(a) during the above match.

The Panel reviewed an incident which occurred at 38 50 footage time of the above match. In the Panel’s opinion, reviewing the referees report as the footage does not show the incident happen, you have thrown and landed multiple punches to the head of your opponents. In the Panel’s opinion this is serious misconduct, has the potential for serious injury and is against the spirit of the game.

In accordance with the RFL’s On Field Sentencing Guidelines, the Panel consider that such offence is a Grade E offence – Punching – sustained and/ or violent

The Penalty Points generally for such an offence would be anything from 36 Penalty Points plus which is a 6 match suspension and a fine.

• Match Review Panel reviewed an incident which occurred in the above match where Mr Bajer was dismissed following his actions.

• There is no footage of the incident.

• The referees report stated that “Joseph Bajer runs in and escalates a situation, throws punches towards the Bradford player connecting with the head.”

• Grade E due to:
- Multiple punches thrown, with a number which connect with the head area.
- Potential for injury to the head. Area of concern for the game.
- Violent act which brings the sport into disrepute and portrays the game in a negative light.
