Summary of CM's submissions on the Charge / evidence:

Following a Match Review Panel meeting held on 1st May 2025, you are charged with misconduct for a breach of Law 15.1(f) during the above match.

The Panel reviewed an incident which occurred at 43:08 footage time of the above match. In the Panel’s opinion you have used Unacceptable Language. The dismissal report is attached with the letter. The Panel believe your actions were serious misconduct and against the spirit of the game.

In accordance with the RFL’s On Field Sentencing Guidelines, the Panel consider that such offence is a Grade E offence – Verbal abuse based on race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national or ethnic origin or any other form of Unacceptable Language and/or Behaviour.

The starting suspension range for such an offence is 24 points plus (4 matches plus).

Player not in attendance. Player pleads guilty via letter.

In the letter he fully accepts the charge and apologised for his actions. The language was unacceptable and entirely out of character. He takes full responsibility for his behaviour and regrets the impact it may have had on others and the game.

The Tribunal note the guilty plea made by the player and notice that he has expressed regret for his actions.

They are in agreement with the proposal from the Compliance Manager that the player should be suspended for the minimum sanction which will be 6-matches. He will also be fined £50.
