After a thrilling semi-final round, we're set for kick-off in the London Junior League Finals this Saturday (23 July).
Five finals across U12s, U14s, and U16s involving eight different clubs will be hosted by Hemel Stags following their impressive facility development made possible by the RLWC2021 CreatedBy programme.
Eastern Rhinos will be optimistic about their chances of Plate competition glory on the day - they have sides in both the U14s and U16s finals, where they take on Hemel Stags and London Skolars respectively.
The U14 Cup clash will see the undefeated Brentwood Eels square off against one of the two sides that have managed a draw against them this season, St Albans Centurions, whose only loss this season came in the reverse fixture against the Eels.
It's an equally interesting matchup in the U16 Cup final, as Elmbridge Eagles' narrow semi-final win earnt them place in the final – they meet Bromley Bengals, whose impressive form has seen them go the season unbeaten.
The Bengals are another club who have finalists in different age groups – their U12’s are involved in a mouth-watering cup final against Brixton Bulls. Both sides have only lost one game all season, and that was to each other – they head into Saturday one a piece, with everything on the line!
With focus no doubt on securing their own silverware, the players will also get the chance to see Rugby League’s most historic prize up close – the Challenge Cup trophy will be present on the day, giving plenty of aspiring players an unmissable opportunity!
