Approximately 120 hopefuls started their journey towards selection for England Universities on Saturday 30th November as the University Rugby League Regional games took place at Loughborough University.
The three games, gave student players the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the England selectors and at times a healthy crowd of both families and friends and intrigued local students.
From these games, the Yorkshire, North West and North East players will be considered for inclusion in the North Origin side, while the South Origin side will be made up of players from the Midlands, South East and South West and they will meet for the 9th Annual University Rugby League Origin game, which also takes place at Loughborough, on Sunday 2nd February 2025.
