Rugby League returns to BBC Sport this weekend after last Saturday’s Challenge Cup Finals from Wembley, with a third Cup Final followed by a clash of two Betfred Super League play-off contenders on BBC Two.

And BBC Sport have also confirmed the next two matches that will be streamed on BBC iPlayer in June and July, as part of their Betfred Super League coverage in 2025.

The action kicks off on Saturday afternoon as Halifax Panthers take on London Roosters in the Betfred Wheelchair Challenge Cup Final.

The match will be live on Red Button and BBC iPlayer from 2pm, featuring a number of members of the England squad including the past and present Wheelchair Golden Boot winners Jack Brown and Rob Hawkins for Halifax, and the 2023 Wheels of Steel winner Lewis King for the Roosters.

Then on Sunday, attention switches to the DIY Kitchens Stadium, where Daryl Powell’s Wakefield Trinity host Adrian Lam’s Leigh Leopards.

Trinity are currently seventh in the table but victory would cut the gap on fourth-placed Leigh to only one point.

That game kicks off at 230pm, with coverage on BBC Two beginning at 215pm.

BBC Sport have selected fixtures in Round 16 and Round 18 for streaming on BBC iPlayer – neither involving a change to the existing kick-off times.

On Saturday June 28, they will cover Wigan’s visit to Castleford Tigers – an 8pm kick-off.

And two weeks later, it’s a Saturday afternoon match (3pm kick-off) between Leigh Leopards and Hull KR.
