Haresfinch RLFC to host the North West Men’s League Cup Finals Day this Saturday

Three exciting finals are set to take place on Saturday 2nd August where six teams will clash in competition, reflecting the absolute best that the North West Men’s League has to offer.
The three fixtures will see three separate trophies up for grabs, promising exhilarating action from the very first kick off and opportunities for each team to earn North West Men’s League coveted silverware, including:
- North West Men’s League Shield
- North West Men’s League Trophy
- North West Men’s League Cup
The first match of the day will be kickstarted by Entry Division Ashton Bears A vs Oldham St Annes A at 11.00am. Oldham St Annes A will look to continue their momentum following their 32-24 triumph over Chorley Panthers during the semi-finals.
However, Ashton Bears A who topped the Shield Group 1 table, will look to keep their winning run in the tournament going.
Following the Shield Final will be the Trophy Final where Wigan St Judes NWML will take on Golborne Parkside at 1.00pm. Wigan St Judes sit contently at first in Division 2, whereas Golborne Parkside are sixth in the division.
To round up a day of spectacular Rugby League action, Ashton Bears and Orrell St James will compete for glory in the Cup Final at 3.00pm. Both teams topped their respective groups following the group stage and just seven points sit between both teams in the Premier Division table.
Orrell St James will seek redemption following last season’s Cup Final loss and Ashton Bears will look to go one step further than they did in 2023 and lift the trophy.
Admissions are £3 for adults and free for Under 16s. All games will also be streamed live on the RFL’s YouTube channel.
